Arc-tooth Connecting Link:

- The tooth surface of the arc-tooth connecting link is changed from the flat tooth surface of the serrated connecting link to an arc-shaped tooth surface, increasing the mutual contact area of each tooth surface of the connecting link.

- The upper tooth root and tooth tip, as well as the transition surface of the arc-tooth connecting link, are convex, while the lower part is concave, with the same arc curvature.

- The arc-tooth connecting link engages with the chain links of the chain through its special arc-shaped teeth, reducing stress concentration and thereby improving the fatigue life and reliability of the connecting link.

2. Differences in Performance Characteristics

Serratted Connecting Link:

- The breaking load of the serrated connecting link reaches 1450 kN, with a fatigue life of nearly 40,000 cycles.

- The teeth of the serrated ring are relatively small. Despite the existence of tooth spacing tolerances, the design of the serrated ring aims to achieve as uniform a load distribution as possible. This uniform distribution helps extend the service life of the serrated ring and ensures reliability under various working conditions.

Arc-tooth Connecting Link:

- Some models of arc-tooth connecting links can achieve a breaking strength of 2350 kN and a fatigue life of 50,000 cycles, with some even reaching 70,000 cycles.

- The arc-tooth connecting link has high breaking strength and fatigue strength.

- The arc-tooth connecting link has undergone reasonable structural improvements. Due to its unique tooth design, the arc-tooth ring can provide high-strength connections, making it suitable for applications that bear larger loads.
