Installation location: Usually installed in corridors, smoke-proof anterooms, or the exhaust system of windowless rooms. It can be suspended from the ceiling or mounted on side walls.
Functional Features
Signal-controlled opening: Normally closed, it can quickly open when the control center sends a DC24V electrical signal.
Manual operation: Equipped with remote manual opening and reset functions, facilitating manual operation in emergencies.
Signal output and interlock: After opening, it outputs a signal and can interlock with other equipment based on user requirements, such as coordinating with exhaust fans.
Working principle: Utilizes the temperature and pressure differences between indoor and outdoor environments to exhaust smoke. During a fire, the indoor temperature rises, and smoke, being hotter and less dense than air, naturally rises. Simultaneously, the accumulation of smoke and heat creates a pressure difference, causing air to flow from low-pressure to high-pressure areas. The plate-type smoke exhaust outlet guides smoke from inside the building to the exhaust outlet and then discharges it outside.
Manufacturing Requirements
Plate thickness: During a fire, the frame (housing) and blades should prevent deformation and failure, with a plate thickness of no less than 2mm.
Fusible element: Should be a standard product certified by fire authorities, with a melting point temperature complying with design specifications.
Valve performance: The valve should operate reliably, close tightly, and its allowable air leakage should meet relevant regulations.
