Working Principle
When a fire occurs, the thermal or smoke detectors activate, or the manual fire alarm is triggered, automatically starting the positive pressure fan at the top of the tower to pressurize the air supply shaft. The electric actuator inside the positive pressure air outlet opens the vent, supplying air to the anteroom to maintain positive pressure, preventing smoke spread, and creating a safe escape route. When the temperature reaches 280°C, the internal fuse melts, automatically closing the vent to prevent the fire from spreading.
Structure and Components
Valve Body: The main component of the valve, manufactured using different methods depending on the pressure rating.
Valve Flap: Subject to strong impact forces during operation; designed to meet compressor requirements, made from materials that undergo strict quality control, and ensuring a tight seal with the valve seat.
Bushing: Provides support and reduces friction, ensuring smooth rotation of the valve flap.
Thin Actuator: Receives electrical signals or manual operation to open and close the vent.
Grille Panel: Evenly distributes and directs airflow while protecting internal components.
Functional Features
Normally Closed: Remains closed under normal conditions to prevent untreated air from entering or indoor air from leaking.
Electric and Manual Opening: Can be automatically opened via an electric actuator upon receiving a signal or manually opened to ensure pressurized air supply in various situations.
Output Opening Signal: Outputs a signal after the vent opens to inform related systems of its operational status, enabling coordinated control.
Manual Reset Closure: After an emergency, the vent can be manually reset to close and return to its initial state.
