Production Methods

• High-Pressure Method: Under high pressure of 100-300 MPa and high temperature of 160-300°C, with trace amounts of oxygen or organic peroxides as initiators, ethylene undergoes free radical polymerization to produce LDPE.

• Low-Pressure Method: Using Ziegler-Natta catalysts or chromium-based catalysts, ethylene is polymerized under relatively low pressure (1-10 MPa) and temperature (60-100°C) to produce HDPE or LLDPE.

• Other Fields: Also widely used in insulation layers for wires and cables, toys, daily necessities, etc.

• Packaging Field: Serves as the main raw material for various films, such as cling film for food packaging and shopping bags.

• Construction Field: Can be made into pipes for water supply and drainage, gas transportation, and is also used to produce insulation materials, waterproof membranes, etc.

• Agricultural Field: Used to manufacture agricultural films, providing functions such as heat preservation, moisture retention, and pest prevention, thereby improving crop yield and quality.
