Product Introduction
Tris(2-hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate contains three hydroxyl groups in its molecular structure along with nitrogen, making it a reactive halogen-free nitrogen-containing flame retardant synergist and a reactive intermediate for synthesizing other flame retardants, with a wide range of applications. It is soluble in cold water. It is synthesized by esterification of cyanuric acid and ethylene oxide using a solvent method.

Application Areas
As a flame retardant synergist and reactive intermediate for synthesizing flame retardants;
Used for flame retardancy in flexible and rigid polyurethane (PU) foam materials, synergizing with phosphorus series;
Used in automotive chassis paint, modified polyimide insulating paint, producing high-quality temperature-resistant alkyd/phenolic insulating paint, reacting with fatty acids to synthesize cyanurate series plasticizers, and also used in textiles, rubber, plastics, printing, photography, and other industries.
