Performance Characteristics and Applications:
The "12", "18", and "C" series of fatty amine polyoxyethylene ethers are produced from laurylamine, tallow amine, and coconut amine, respectively. They are used in the textile industry as antistatic agents and process aids, as corrosion inhibitor components in metalworking fluids, as detergent conditioners and thickeners in acidic systems for household chemicals; in agrochemicals, they serve as spray adjuvants, such as main components in glyphosate and paraquat aqueous formulations. They are also used as intermediates for further production of quaternary ammonium salts and amine oxides.
