1. This product is soluble in water, appearing non-ionic in alkaline or neutral media, and cationic in acidic media, with excellent leveling and dispersing properties.
2. Mainly used as a leveling agent for acid metal complex dyes, it can reduce the amount of sulfuric acid in the dye bath, minimize fabric strength damage, and also serve as a leveling agent for neutral and vat dyes. It effectively controls the instantaneous dye uptake rate and dye migration, and promotes rapid dyeing at high temperatures.
3. Acts as a leveling agent in wool, hemp, silk, and synthetic fibers; at higher concentrations, it becomes an ideal stripping agent. Used as a stripping agent for wool and nylon fabrics, it improves fabric appearance in wool stripping and level dyeing, and enhances the rubbing fastness of fabrics in vat dyeing and printing.
4. In the production of viscose fiber tire cord, it serves as an additive to increase cord strength, improve viscose filterability and processing, enhance single-filament strength, and reduce spinneret replacement rates by approximately 20–40%.

5. Used as an emulsifier, antistatic agent, and dispersant in textiles.
