Solar Radiation Test

Main Purpose:

This is a test conducted on equipment and their manufacturing materials exposed to sunlight. Solar radiation can cause photochemical and thermal effects. In most cases, this test can replace high-temperature testing. The sunlight exposure test evaluates the impact of solar radiation on the use or outdoor storage of equipment or related materials.

The heating effect of solar radiation testing is primarily generated by the infrared spectrum portion of solar radiation energy, mainly causing short-term high temperatures and localized overheating in products. This can lead to failures in temperature-sensitive components, mechanical damage to structural materials, and overheating damage to insulating materials.

Technical Parameters:

① Temperature range: RT (room temperature) +10°C to 63°C, test blackboard temperature: 65°C ± 3°C

② Humidity range: 40% RH to 95% RH

③ Rainfall cycle: 0 to 240 min, interval (interruption) adjustable

④ Rainfall duration: 0 to 9999 min, adjustable

⑤ Wavelength range: 290 nm to 800 nm, irradiance intensity: 550 W/m²
