Controlled Ecological Environment Simulation System

Introduction:

The Closed Ecological Cycle Test Platform utilizes controlled ecological life support technology to achieve continuous regeneration of essential life support materials such as food, oxygen, and water within the system. This enables a highly closed-loop cycle of various substances within the system, further reducing the supply requirements of life support materials for the crew. Among these, higher plants serve as the key biological component of the system. By cultivating higher plants, the regeneration of food, water, and oxygen within the system can be realized.

Purpose:

The primary functions of the controlled ecological life support system include: food production, waste recycling, water recycling, and gas recycling.

The controlled ecological life support system can be divided into two parts: environmental control and food production.

Environmental control consists of three major systems: gas recycling, water recycling, and waste management.

Food production includes four components: a plant cultivation chamber, an algae bioreactor, an animal rearing facility, and an aquarium.

Temperature control: 20～30℃ (lights on), 20～25℃ (lights off)

Humidity control: 60～80% RH, control accuracy ≤ ±5% RH

Gas concentration: Oxygen 19～25% V/V, Carbon dioxide 2000～8000ppm

Wind speed: 0～0.5 m/s

Gas partial pressure: Oxygen 19～25kPa, Carbon dioxide 0.2～0.8kPa
