1. Steam boilers offer superior quality and adequate output

Steam generators produce steam with high moisture content, resulting in poor quality and inefficient heat utilization. Steam boilers are equipped with steam-water separators inside the drum, which purify the steam by separating water from it, effectively ensuring high steam quality.

2. Steam boilers are more suitable for uninterrupted industrial steam usage

Steam generators have a simple structure and small water capacity, allowing for rapid steam production. In contrast, steam boilers have a larger water capacity, providing sufficient output and strong load adaptability, making them more stable for long-term operation. For the same displacement, steam generators are more suitable for small and micro users with intermittent steam needs, such as small businesses steaming tofu or ironing clothes. However, most industrial enterprises, including chemical, printing and dyeing, food processing, and heating industries, require continuous and uninterrupted steam supply, making steam boilers the more suitable choice for long-term stable operation.

3. Lower water treatment costs for steam boilers

Steam generators demand high water quality, requiring purified water standards. This means higher investment and operational costs for water treatment. If water quality fails to meet standards, it can easily cause tube explosions, making repairs impossible and resulting in the complete scrapping of the boiler.

Steam boilers have relatively lower water quality requirements, following the GB1576-2008 industrial boiler water quality standards. Generally, softened water treatment technology or the addition of resin filters is sufficient.

4. Steam boilers have a larger capacity range

Steam generators have a smaller capacity range, typically suitable for evaporation rates around 0.5T. They are often configured modularly and are commonly used in production and daily life applications requiring steam consumption below half a ton or thermal values below 300,000 kcal.

Steam boilers have a much larger capacity range, reaching up to 160T or even more, making them suitable for various industries such as heating, power generation, and chemical processing.
