Gas Module Boiler Automatic Control System Combustion Automatic Control System: After starting the boiler, the control system sends a signal to the small flame valve, and the small flame ignites automatically. If the small flame fails to ignite (e.g., due to lack of gas or low pressure), the system automatically shuts down and reignites after 5 minutes. If the small flame ignites successfully, the system activates, and the large flame valve system begins normal operation. If the small flame extinguishes under certain conditions, the monitor automatically shuts off the large flame within 0.2 seconds, and the small flame valve system locks itself. Natural Gas Module Boiler Temperature Safety Control System The boiler body is equipped with two systems: normal temperature control and high-limit safety control. Some models integrate both controls into a single temperature controller, while others have separate controls. Both systems can be set for high-limit safety control. If the boiler’s outlet water temperature exceeds the set normal temperature and reaches the high-limit safety temperature due to any reason, the system automatically shuts off both the large and small flame valves and locks itself. Boiler Electricity Consumption: The electricity consumption of gas module boilers is extremely low, almost negligible. Single large boilers require forced-draft and induced-draft fans, which consume electrical energy. In contrast, module boilers utilize atmospheric direct combustion, eliminating the need for a forced-draft fan. The electricity required by module boilers is only consumed during ignition, and this amount is negligible. If the electricity consumption of a single large boiler is converted into heat energy, the energy consumption of module boilers is 1% lower than that of traditional boilers. In summary, the module boiler series represents a breakthrough in design philosophy and form compared to traditional boilers. This series offers unparalleled advantages in environmental protection, energy efficiency, safety, automation, lifespan, installation, electricity consumption, capacity expansion, footprint, and space utilization. It has been widely adopted in various new and renovated heating and hot water projects. The integration of gas module combination boilers with automatic control systems enables the system’s water supply temperature to operate according to the heating curve (error ≤ 0.5°C), truly achieving "on-demand heating" and significantly reducing excessive heat loss and underheating issues. Single large boilers lack flexibility in load adjustment, with most relying on manual staged coarse adjustments or methods like "large/small flame" or "peak flame." During the early and late stages of the heating season, when external weather conditions change frequently and significantly, the adjustment performance of traditional boilers makes it difficult for the actual output to match the required load. This often results in underheating or overheating, commonly referred to as the "supply-demand contradiction." This not only degrades heating quality but also causes unnecessary additional heat loss. According to domestic literature, the annual comprehensive load rate (including backup devices) and thermal efficiency of domestic oil and gas heating boilers mostly remain below 45% and 72.7%, respectively, which is highly uneconomical. However, these two indicators have not yet garnered sufficient attention from experts. By advanced standards, the annual comprehensive energy utilization rate of such boiler systems is also very low.
