1. Steam boilers offer superior quality and sufficient output

Steam generators produce steam with high moisture content and poor quality, which is not conducive to efficient heat utilization. Steam boilers are equipped with steam-water separators in the drum, which serve to separate steam and water, purify the steam, and effectively ensure steam quality.

2. Steam boilers are more suitable for uninterrupted industrial steam usage

Steam generators have a simple structure and small water capacity, allowing for rapid steam production. Steam boilers, with their large water capacity and sufficient output, offer strong load adaptability and greater stability for long-term operation. For the same displacement, steam generators are more suitable for small and micro users with intermittent steam needs, such as small businesses steaming tofu or ironing clothes. However, most industrial enterprises, such as those in chemical, printing and dyeing, food, and heating industries, require continuous and uninterrupted steam usage, making steam boilers more suitable for long-term stable operation.

3. Lower water treatment costs for steam boilers

Steam generators require high water quality, meeting pure water standards, which means higher investment and operating costs for water treatment. If water quality fails to meet standards, it can easily cause tube bursts, making repairs impossible and resulting in the entire boiler being scrapped.

Steam boilers have relatively lower water quality requirements, following the GB1576-2008 industrial boiler water quality standard. Generally, softened water treatment technology or the addition of resin filters is sufficient.

4. Steam boilers have a larger capacity range

Steam generators have a smaller capacity range, with evaporation rates typically around 0.5T. They are usually configured modularly and are commonly used in production and daily life applications requiring steam consumption below half a ton or thermal values below 300,000 kcal.

Steam boilers have a larger capacity range, reaching up to 160T or even more, making them suitable for various industries such as heating, power, and chemical sectors.
