Description--

A normally closed pneumatic diaphragm valve is a type of valve that remains closed when no air source is supplied and opens when air is supplied. This is achieved through pressure from the air source pipeline acting on the reinforced rubber diaphragm. When the air source enters the cylinder control chamber, the valve passage opens; when there is no air pressure in the cylinder control chamber, the valve passage closes. The valve has no stem, sealing pad, or directional seat, and the only moving part in the passage is the diaphragm, so there is no risk of corrosion or seizing, ensuring higher stability.

Structural Composition:

Valve Body: The valve body is the main part of the valve, typically made of materials such as cast iron, cast steel, carbon steel, or stainless steel to suit different working environments and medium requirements. Its interior has a fluid passage for the flow of the medium.

Diaphragm: The diaphragm is the key component of the normally closed pneumatic diaphragm valve, generally made of elastic materials such as rubber or fluoroplastic. It divides the inner cavity of the valve body into two parts, isolating the medium from the driving components, ensuring that parts such as the stem and disc above the diaphragm are not corroded by the medium.

Pneumatic Actuator: Composed of components such as the cylinder, piston, and push rod, it serves as the power source for driving the diaphragm movement. When compressed air is supplied, the pneumatic actuator pushes the diaphragm to open the valve. After the air source is cut off, the diaphragm returns to its original position through its own elasticity or a reset device like a spring, closing the valve.

Accessories: Include air source treatment components (such as filters, pressure reducing valves, and lubricators), solenoid valves, and limit switches. Air source treatment components are used to purify, regulate pressure, and lubricate the compressed air; solenoid valves control the on/off of compressed air for remote valve operation; limit switches provide feedback on the valve's open/close position signals.
