Nitrogen purification unit refers to the general term for devices that remove impurities from nitrogen through physical or chemical methods. The LCN nitrogen purification unit employs a unique process to purify various nitrogen sources with a nitrogen content of ≤3% into high-purity nitrogen with a residual oxygen content of ≤1ppm. By selecting different catalysts, reactants, and processes, oxygen components can be directionally converted into water, nitrogen dioxide, nitric oxide, or completely removed to meet different requirements. The entire process is computer-monitored and automatically adjusted for fully automated operation.

Process Overview of Hydrogenation Nitrogen Purification Unit
(1) Hydrogenation Purification Type (DXA)
Utilizes high-efficiency palladium metal catalysts to react oxygen in crude nitrogen with hydrogen to form water. Suitable for applications where crude nitrogen purity is low and the purified gas has no strict requirements for hydrogen content.

(2) Direct Reaction Type (DXB)
Based on the principle of oxygen reacting with carbon to form carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide, this method uses highly active carbonaceous reactants to generate carbon dioxide at specific temperatures. The process involves two or more reactors working alternately to ensure continuous gas production. Suitable for gas volumes up to 100 m³/h and applications with no stringent requirements for carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide.

(3) Absorption Reaction Type (DXC)
For scenarios involving carbon oxides, carbon monoxide, and crude nitrogen purity greater than 99.5%, oxygen in the raw nitrogen can be directly absorbed using active absorbents. The process consists of two reactors: one operates while the other regenerates, ensuring continuous nitrogen supply.
