Fine Chemical Nitrogen Generator

The fine chemical nitrogen generator operates on the principle of pressure swing adsorption, utilizing high-quality carbon molecular sieve as the adsorbent to produce nitrogen from air under a certain pressure. Purified and dried compressed air undergoes pressurized adsorption and depressurized desorption within the adsorber. Due to the kinetic effects of air, oxygen diffuses much faster through the micropores of the carbon molecular sieve than nitrogen, leading to the preferential adsorption of oxygen by the sieve, while nitrogen is enriched in the gas phase, forming the final nitrogen product. The adsorbed oxygen and other impurities are then desorbed from the adsorbent by reducing the pressure to atmospheric levels, enabling regeneration. Typically, the system is equipped with two adsorption towers: one tower adsorbs to produce nitrogen, while the other undergoes desorption for regeneration. The opening and closing of pneumatic valves are controlled by a PLC program controller, allowing the two towers to alternate cycles, thereby achieving continuous production of high-purity nitrogen.
