Application of Industrial Oxygen Generators in the Chemical Industry:

In the chemical industry, oxygen is primarily used to enhance production processes. For example, oxygen is utilized in organic chemical production, acid manufacturing, pulp oxygen bleaching, yellow phosphorus production, oxygen-enriched high-pressure gasification for gas production, oxygen injection for gasifying low-quality coal fields, petroleum protein production, fuel cell manufacturing, crude oil cracking, natural gas substitute production, and flame jet rock breaking.During synthetic ammonia production, oxygen is mainly used for the oxidation of feedstock gas to intensify the process and increase fertilizer output. Other examples include high-temperature cracking of heavy oil and pulverized coal gasification.

Principle of Chemical Oxygen Generators

Chemical oxygen generators operate based on the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) principle, using zeolite molecular sieves as adsorbents. Due to the selective adsorption characteristics of zeolite molecular sieves, nitrogen is adsorbed in large quantities, while oxygen is enriched in the gas phase, achieving nitrogen-oxygen separation under pressure swing adsorption. The system employs a dual adsorption tower process: one tower adsorbs and produces oxygen, while the other undergoes desorption and regeneration. Through PLC intelligent program control of pneumatic angle seat valves' opening and closing, the two towers alternate cycles, continuously producing high-purity oxygen.
