Process of the VPSA Oxygen Generator for Industrial Wastewater Treatment

  The adsorption bed of the pressure swing adsorption air separation oxygen generation unit must include two operational steps: adsorption and desorption. To continuously obtain product gas, the oxygen generation unit is typically equipped with two or more adsorption beds. From the perspectives of energy consumption and stability, additional necessary auxiliary steps are also set up. Each adsorption bed generally undergoes steps such as adsorption, pressure release, evacuation or depressurization regeneration, flushing replacement, and pressure equalization pressurization, operating cyclically and repetitively. At the same time, each adsorption bed is in a different operational step, switching periodically under the control of a PLC, enabling coordinated operation among several adsorption beds with staggered timing. This ensures the stable operation of the pressure swing adsorption unit and the continuous acquisition of product gas. For the actual separation process, other trace components in the air must also be considered. The adsorption capacity of carbon dioxide and moisture on common adsorbents is generally much greater than that of nitrogen and oxygen. Suitable adsorbents can be added to the adsorption bed (or the oxygen production adsorbent itself can be utilized) to adsorb and remove them.
