LCN800 Nitrogen Generator for the Photovoltaic Industry

The nitrogen generator operates on the pressure swing adsorption principle, using carbon molecular sieve as the adsorbent to produce nitrogen from air at rated pressure. Purified and dried compressed air undergoes pressurized adsorption and depressurized desorption within the adsorber. Due to aerodynamic effects, oxygen diffuses much faster than nitrogen in the micropores of the carbon molecular sieve, leading to preferential adsorption of oxygen by the sieve, while nitrogen is enriched in the gas phase, forming the final nitrogen product. Subsequently, by reducing the pressure to atmospheric levels, the adsorbent desorbs the adsorbed oxygen and other impurities, achieving regeneration. Typically, the system is equipped with two adsorption towers: one tower adsorbs to produce nitrogen, while the other undergoes desorption and regeneration. The opening and closing of pneumatic valves are controlled by a PLC program controller, allowing the two towers to alternate and achieve continuous production of high-quality nitrogen.
