Working Principle of Lithium Battery CO2 Removal Dryer

The decarbonizer adopts the principle of pressure swing adsorption and temperature swing adsorption to remove carbon dioxide and dry compressed air.

Process Flow of Lithium Battery CO2 Removal Dryer

Raw air is compressed by the compressor to the required pressure and enters the air storage tank. The gas then passes through a precision C-grade filter to remove free water and oil, followed by a refrigerated dryer and a precision T-grade filter for further dehydration. It then enters the CO2 removal micro-heat dryer and precision A-grade filter, reducing the CO2 content in the compressed air to ≤5 ppm. Through adsorption dehydration, the dew point of the compressed air is lowered to below -60°C, removing a significant amount of moisture. Finally, the air passes through a precision filter to eliminate trace dust.

The compressed air quality achieved by this configuration is as follows:

Dew point of the product gas ≤ -60°C

Oil content in the outlet air ≤ 0.01 ppm

Dust particle size in the outlet air ≤ 0.01 μm

Adsorbents for Lithium Battery CO2 Removal Dryer

Activated alumina and high-quality 13X molecular sieve are porous, high-strength products with a strong affinity for water. They are adsorbents used for deep drying of trace moisture and effectively removing and reducing carbon dioxide content. They feature characteristics such as no softening, no expansion, and no pulverization when soaked in water within the medium. As a result, they are widely used in the petrochemical industry for gas and liquid phase drying, textile industry, oxygen production industry, and automated instrument air drying.
