Seismic Bracing for Fire Pipes

Efficient Seismic Protection: Equipped with articulated, spring damping, and other seismic nodes, it can resist horizontal and vertical seismic forces, reducing the risk of water pipe breakage and detachment. Complies with GB 50981 "Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering," suitable for seismic fortification zones of intensity 6-9, capable of withstanding horizontal acceleration loads ≥0.6g.

Strong Load-Bearing and Stability: Single bracket load capacity ranges from 50-800kg depending on specifications. Through triangular support or multi-directional restraint structures, it prevents water pipe displacement or distortion due to vibration, ensuring the continuous operation of water supply and drainage systems during earthquakes.

Flexible Adaptation and Compatibility: Compatible with DN25-DN300 galvanized steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, PE pipes, etc. The pipe diameter adaptation range can be adjusted via pipe clamps, U-clamps, and other accessories. It can also share a base with seismic brackets for air ducts and cable trays, saving space.

Seismic Node Types: Include articulated, universal ball joint, spring damping, etc., with horizontal displacement compensation ≥40mm and vertical displacement compensation ≥15mm.

Installation Spacing: For horizontal water pipes, spacing ≤18m for intensity 6-7 fortification, ≤12m for intensity 8, ≤6m for intensity 9. For vertical water pipes, spacing ≤6m, with at least one bracket per floor.

Positioning and Layout: Mark bracket positions according to design drawings. The spacing of horizontal pipe brackets must meet seismic fortification requirements. Vertical pipe brackets should have at least one per floor, preferably 1.5-1.8m from the ground.

Fixing the Base: Use M10-M16 expansion bolts to fix the base in concrete structures. For steel structures, use welding or bolt connections, ensuring the base load capacity is ≥1.5 times the bracket load and reliably connected to the main building structure.

Bracket Assembly and Adjustment: Assemble channel steel, seismic connectors, and pipe clamps according to the drawings. Adjust the bracket levelness (deviation ≤2mm/m) and verticality (deviation ≤3mm). Node bolt torque must reach 40-60N・m.

Pipe Fixation: After pipe installation, tighten with pipe clamps. Place rubber gaskets between the clamps and pipes to prevent wear. The articulated parts of seismic nodes must remain freely movable without affecting pipe thermal expansion and contraction.

Regular Inspection: Check bolts for looseness, welds for cracks, and anti-corrosion coatings for damage quarterly. Replace parts or repaint promptly if issues are found.

Node Maintenance: Apply lithium-based grease to spring damping nodes annually and test spring compression rebound (should be ≥90%). For articulated nodes, check pin wear; replace if wear exceeds 1mm.

Pipe Linkage Test: During pipeline system pressure testing, check for displacement at bracket and pipe fixation points. Ensure pipe clamps fit tightly against pipes with no gaps or looseness.
