Loctite SI5900 is a flat seal silicone suitable for various substrates. Typical applications include stamped metal covers, such as timing gear covers and oil pans, which can fill all irregularities on the flange surface to achieve leak-proof sealing. Unlike common acetoxy-type room temperature vulcanizing sealants, this non-oxime silicone does not corrode the flange surface. It is suitable for metal, plastic, glass, and ceramic materials. After application, it does not easily flow or migrate.
