Polyurethane paint: The expert in appearance. Excellent weather resistance, good gloss and color retention, strong decorative properties. Mainly used as topcoat to protect the underlying epoxy paint from UV damage.
Fluorocarbon paint: Excellent weather resistance, durability, and self-cleaning properties, but more expensive. Used for ultra-long-term (20 years or more) and highly demanding outdoor projects.

Question: What is the difference between epoxy primer and epoxy topcoat? Can they be mixed?
Answer: There are differences, and they cannot be mixed.
Primer: Focuses more on rust prevention and adhesion, containing anticorrosive pigments (such as zinc phosphate, micaceous iron oxide).
Topcoat: Focuses more on density, chemical resistance, and aesthetics (such as color, smoothness).
If topcoat is used as primer, rust prevention is poor; if primer is used as topcoat, it is not wear-resistant and has poor appearance.
