Coal Chemical Sand Plant Grading Drum Sand Screening Machine

The trommel sand screen controls waste sorting through particle size, offering high sorting accuracy. The drum of the trommel screen is generally divided into several sections, which can be adjusted according to specific conditions. The screen holes are arranged from small to large, with each section having screen holes of the same size.

Working Principle
The drum device is installed at an incline on the frame. The motor is connected to the drum device via a coupling through a reducer, driving the drum device to rotate around its axis. When material enters the drum device, due to the inclination and rotation of the drum, the material on the screen surface is turned and rolled. Qualified material (undersize product) is discharged through the outlet at the bottom of the rear end of the drum, while unqualified material (oversize product) is discharged through the discharge port at the tail end of the drum. The turning and rolling of the material inside the drum helps to eject any material stuck in the screen holes, preventing screen clogging. The trommel sand screen, trommel screening machine, and trommel screen have almost identical principles and structures, with differences mainly in people's understanding and naming of them.

1. Used in stone quarries for grading large and small stones and separating soil and stone powder.

3. Used in the coal industry for separating lump coal from coal powder and for coal washing (as part of coal washing machinery).
