1. Selection of roller length:
Rollers of appropriate width should be selected for goods of different widths. Generally, "conveyed object width + 50mm" is used.
2. Selection of roller wall thickness and shaft diameter:
Calculate the required load-bearing capacity per roller by evenly distributing the weight of the conveyed object across the contacting rollers, thereby determining the wall thickness and shaft diameter of the rollers.
3. Roller material and surface treatment:
Depending on the conveying environment, determine the material and surface treatment of the rollers (galvanized carbon steel, stainless steel, blackening, or rubber coating).
