A flying mold table must have precise flatness. To achieve precise flatness, the following conditions must be met:

1. Thickness requirements: mainly include the thickness of the working surface, the thickness and height of the sidewalls, as well as the thickness, height, and density of the bottom rib plates.

2. Material requirements: high-strength cast iron HT200-300, hardness: HB170-240.

3. Artificial annealing: subjected to high-temperature annealing at 600-700 degrees Celsius in a tempering kiln for aging treatment.

4. Natural aging: according to national standards, natural aging should take 2-3 years. However, due to the lengthy process and financial constraints, most companies use vibrators for vibration aging instead. Although the effectiveness of this method is not yet fully confirmed, it is widely adopted internationally.

5. Sand holes and pores: Grade 0 and Grade 1 platforms are not allowed to have pores or sand holes. For Grade 2 and Grade 3, solid fillers made of the same material as the platform can be used to fill pores and sand holes. Note: The hardness of the filler must be lower than that of the platform itself.
