Due to the absence of tightly fitted components, particles can pass through the pump without damage. Abrasive and viscous materials can also be pumped easily without compromising the characteristics of the liquid. The pump can run dry and self-prime in many process and waste applications without risk. With no packing or mechanical seals, Wilton pumps are well-suited for handling flammable liquids.
