Product Description:
This product is a multifunctional silicone polymer. When mixed with water, it undergoes a slow hydrolysis reaction, and the hydrolyzed product remains stable and effective over the long term. It can be applied in water-based resin emulsions and dispersions, as well as in the modification of water-soluble resins. The product can be used in water-based coatings and water-based adhesives. After the coating dries, the crosslinking agent reacts with residual carboxyl groups to form a crosslinked and cured structure, enhancing hardness, adhesion, water resistance, corrosion resistance, and boiling water resistance.
Application Areas:
1. Suitable for one-component and two-component water-based styrene-acrylic and pure acrylic resin emulsion and dispersion coating systems;
2. Used as a surface treatment agent for glass fibers, significantly improving the strength of glass fiber composites;
3. Applied in water-based wood coatings, noticeably increasing coating hardness, heat resistance, and water resistance;
4. Used in water-based architectural coatings, greatly enhancing scrub resistance;
5. Applied in water-based industrial coatings, significantly improving water resistance, hardness, adhesion, and salt spray resistance.
Usage Method:
This product can be directly added to the formulation during the final stage of coating production. After thorough mixing or stirring, it is ready for use. The finished product should be aged for 24-48 hours before application.
