An air source heat pump water heater is an energy-saving device that utilizes the reverse Carnot cycle principle to absorb low-grade heat from the air and transfer it to water for heating purposes. Its working process primarily relies on the refrigerant cycle: the evaporator absorbs heat from the ambient air and vaporizes, is compressed by the compressor into a high-temperature, high-pressure gas, then exchanges heat with the water in the tank in the condenser and condenses into a liquid, releasing heat that raises the water temperature. Finally, it passes through a throttling device to reduce pressure and returns to the evaporator to complete the cycle. This process efficiently converts heat energy from the air, which is difficult to utilize directly, into thermal energy for water.
