KH-II Gate Opening Load Meter Control Instrument

The KH-II Gate Opening Single Load Gauge is developed to meet the practical needs of the water conservancy, hydropower, and hydrology industries. It is a relatively independent intelligent gate opening measurement and control device that also outputs analog signals for networking. The instrument adopts embedded microcomputer control technology, offering powerful functions, stable and reliable performance, high precision, and strong anti-interference capability. It serves as an opening and load measurement and control device for various gates, bridge cranes, gantry cranes, and hoisting equipment. It is suitable for applications where the sensor and actual gate opening have a linear relationship, such as with flat gates, as well as for nonlinear relationships, such as with radial gates and multi-layer cable drums. Nonlinear measurement uses a piecewise approximation method, dividing the entire range into several segments (this display divides it into 10 segments). Users only need to set the opening value at the end of each segment on the display based on actual measurements. For linear measurement, only the opening value at the end of the first segment needs to be preset.

The instrument features multiple output interfaces including RS485, relays, and 4-20mA, facilitating the formation of networked control systems.

II. Features

1. Fully digital calibration: All parameter settings are completed via four keys on the panel. All set or calibrated parameters have power-off memory function; parameter setting is password protected.

2. The opening sensor does not require mechanical zero adjustment; software zero adjustment can be performed at any point.

3. Uses Modbus RTU communication protocol with selectable baud rates of 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19200. It can be directly connected to the communication networks of PLCs and host computer configuration software that support the Modbus-RTU protocol.

4. Compact design, integrating gate opening and hoisting load measurement. The Chinese LCD display is clear and intuitive, facilitating easy human-machine interaction.

8. Alarm and control functions:

1) Alarm control signal: Relay contact. Contact capacity: 3A 24VDC, 3A 250VAC.

2) Upper limit: When the opening is greater than or equal to the upper limit value, the upper limit relay contact closes.

3) Lower limit: When the opening is less than or equal to the lower limit value, the lower limit relay contact closes.

4) Water filling: When the opening is within the water filling set and reset range, the relay closes.

5) Overload: When the load value is greater than or equal to this value, the relay closes.

6) Underload: When the load value is less than or equal to this value, the relay closes.

7) Buzzer: Sounds in states such as upper limit, lower limit, and overload.

9. The microcontroller in the display is equipped with a Watchdog to prevent operational disorders.
