KD-I Gate Opening Indicator

The KD-I Gate Opening Indicator is specifically developed to meet the practical needs of the water conservancy, hydropower, and hydrology industries. It is an intelligent gate opening measurement and control device that operates relatively independently while also providing analog signal output for networking. The instrument utilizes embedded microcomputer control technology, offering powerful functionality, stable and reliable performance, high precision, and strong anti-interference capability. It serves as an opening measurement and control device for various gates, bridge cranes, gantry cranes, and hoisting equipment. It is suitable for applications where the relationship between the sensor and the actual gate opening is linear, such as with flat gates, as well as for nonlinear relationships, such as with radial gates and multi-layer steel cable drums. Nonlinear measurement employs a piecewise approximation method, dividing the entire range into several segments (this display uses 10 segments). Users only need to set the opening value at the end of each segment on the display based on actual measurements. For linear measurement, simply preset the opening value at the end of the first segment.

The instrument uses a multifunctional 16-bit CPU for computation and control. The hardware includes a watchdog self-reset circuit, and both software and hardware incorporate multiple anti-interference measures, ensuring reliable operation in various industrial environments. The instrument allows for the setting of various parameters, features flash memory for storing preset parameters, and retains data during power loss. It offers multiple output interfaces including RS485, relays, and 4-20mA, facilitating integration into networked control systems.

II. Features

1. Fully digital calibration: All parameter settings are completed via four keys on the panel. All set or calibrated parameters feature permanent memory retention during power loss.

2. The opening sensor requires no mechanical zero adjustment; software zeroing can be performed at any point.

3. Utilizes Modbus RTU communication protocol with selectable baud rates of 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19200. It can be directly integrated into communication networks of PLCs and upper computer configuration software that support Modbus-RTU protocol.

4. Compact design, gate opening measurement, clear and intuitive Chinese LCD display, facilitating easy human-machine interaction.

8. Alarm and control functions

2) Upper limit: When the opening is greater than or equal to the upper limit value, the upper limit relay contact closes.

3) Lower limit: When the opening is less than or equal to the lower limit value, the lower limit relay contact closes.

4) Water filling: When the opening is within the water filling set and reset range, the relay closes.

9. The microcontroller in the display is equipped with a Watchdog to prevent operational disorders.
