Uses: Primarily used in the dye industry for the synthesis of 3-amino-5-carboxy-1,2,4-triazole, cationic red 2BL, X-GRL, as well as for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals such as Trapidil and Mitoguazone; also used in pesticides and nitrofurazone derivatives.
