Principle of Steam Kinetic Mill:

The steam kinetic mill utilizes superheated steam accelerated through coaxial nozzles to propel particles and achieve collision-based pulverization. The crushed material is then classified by a grader, with qualified powder entering the subsequent collection system for gathering, while unqualified material is returned to the mill for further crushing. The entire system maintains steam in a superheated state, and production is conducted entirely under dry conditions. 

Advantages of Ultrafine and Superfine Grinding with Nano Steam Kinetic Mill for Processing Ultrafine Fly Ash and Sulfur-Fixed Ash

1. It can fully utilize existing waste heat-generated steam or back-pressure steam from low-temperature power generation as a power source, effectively reducing powder processing costs. If existing steam is currently vented without practical application, adopting the steam kinetic mill can reduce powder processing costs to just 1/5 to 1/8 of those associated with jet mill processing. The energy-saving advantage is significant in suitable locations, as using low-grade energy is far more efficient than using high-grade energy. 

2. Comparison of crushing intensity: Conventional jet mills are designed with linear speeds of 400 m/s to 600 m/s, while the steam kinetic mill achieves a crushing intensity of up to 1000 m/s. 

3. Full utilization of waste heat aligns with the national policy of vigorously promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, making it easier to obtain government technology funding support and national scientific awards. 

4. The steam kinetic mill crushes materials through mutual collisions between particles, resulting in minimal equipment wear. If large foreign objects (such as bolts or iron blocks) enter the equipment with the raw material, they will not cause damage. The equipment has low maintenance rates, very few vulnerable parts, and low maintenance costs. 

5. The processed powder has a wide particle size range, capable of producing 10μm ultrafine powder or, as needed, 1–2μm superfine powder.
