The XL-21 low-voltage power distribution cabinet is suitable for use in power plants and industrial and mining enterprises, operating in three-phase four-wire or three-phase five-wire systems with an AC voltage of 500 volts and below for power distribution purposes. The XL-21 low-voltage power distribution cabinet is designed for indoor installation against a wall, with front access for maintenance.

The XL-21 low-voltage power distribution cabinet is of a closed type, with a housing made of bent steel plates. The knife switch operating handle is installed on the upper part of the right column at the front of the cabinet, which can be used for switching power sources. A voltmeter is installed on the front of the distribution cabinet to indicate the bus voltage. The front of the distribution cabinet has a door, and when opened, all equipment inside is exposed, facilitating maintenance and repair. This distribution cabinet uses domestically designed modular components, featuring a compact structure, ease of maintenance, and flexible combination of circuit schemes. In addition to air circuit breakers and fuses for short-circuit protection, the distribution cabinet is also equipped with contactors and thermal relays. The front door can be fitted with operation buttons and indicator lights.

◇ Ambient temperature: -50°C to +40°C, with an average temperature not exceeding +36°C over 24 hours;
◇ Altitude: not exceeding 2000m;
◇ Relative humidity: not exceeding 50% when the surrounding air temperature is +40°C;
◇ Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +20°C), taking into account that moderate condensation may occur due to temperature changes;
◇ The installation tilt relative to the vertical plane should not exceed 5°. The equipment should be installed in locations free from severe vibration, impact, and corrosion.

>>Usage, Maintenance, and Inspection

Before putting the power distribution cabinet into operation after installation or maintenance, the following inspections and tests must be conducted (the scope of inspection and testing after maintenance depends on the nature of the maintenance performed).
◇ Check whether the electrical equipment and secondary wiring inside the power distribution cabinet comply with the drawing requirements.
◇ Check whether the knife switch and air switch for operation are flexible and free from jamming.
◇ Check whether the contacts of the installed electrical equipment are in good condition and meet the usage requirements of the equipment itself.
◇ Check for any foreign objects inside the power distribution cabinet and whether all fastening screws are loose.
