Silicone defoamer

Haolang High-Efficiency Concentrated Silicone Defoamer is made by emulsifying polydimethylsiloxane with silicone polyether and is applied in aqueous foaming systems.

The defoamer should possess the following properties: ① Strong defoaming ability with low dosage; ② Does not affect the basic properties of the foaming system when added, meaning it does not react with the system being defoamed; ③ Low surface tension; ④ Good balance with the surface; ⑤ Good heat resistance; ⑥ Excellent diffusivity and permeability, with a high positive spreading coefficient; ⑦ Chemically stable with strong oxidation resistance; ⑧ Good gas solubility and permeability; ⑨ Low solubility in foaming solutions; ⑩ Non-physiologically active and highly safe.

Usage Instructions:

Concentration requirement of defoamer: The dosage of the defoamer depends on the specific application, but it is recommended that the active content be no less than 10 ppm.

Addition of defoamer:

Before adding HL-501 to the foaming solution, gently shake it to ensure the emulsion is uniform. HL-501 can be added directly.

Storage Stability: Up to 12 months in a sealed container.
