T5009 Safety Interlock Switch

T5009 & T5009-6 safety switches are universal tongue-operated safety interlock switches; compliant with EN1088, EN292, EN60947-5-1, EN60204-1 standards, listed by UL and C-UL, and approved by BG; robust and versatile—featuring a sturdy, compact glass-filled polyester housing and metal-reinforced cam, suitable for various applications; NEMA 6 enclosure allows the switch series to withstand water washdowns; rotatable head—provides four available actuator entry points to meet multiple installation requirements. A plug is also provided for blanking unused entries; small swing radius—when using optional flexible actuators and alignment guides, it can be applied to doors with a 2.5-inch swing radius; vibration-resistant—optional hook and retainer ensure reliable vibration protection to keep doors closed, preventing accidental opening of protective doors on vibrating machinery; long lifespan—the T5009 series switches and their stainless steel actuators are designed for at least 1 million actuations; the T5009-6 series switches feature 4-contact electrodes, with 2 electrodes for dual-channel safety monitoring and 2 for status monitoring; optional connectors enable quick and easy installation of T5009 series switches; optional stainless steel heads are available for various demanding applications.
