Fully Automatic Bonding Index Tester
A specialized instrument used to determine the bonding capacity of coking coal—Roga Index and Bonding Index. It is suitable for use in laboratories within the coal, metallurgy, coking industries, and scientific research institutions.
A certain amount of coal sample is uniformly mixed with a specific quantity of anthracite (inert material), allowing the coal sample (small particle size) to evenly adhere to the surface of the anthracite (large particle size). During the carbonization process, the colloidal substance generated by the coal sample bonds the anthracite particles together. A specially designed drum is then used for the tumbling test to determine the wear resistance strength of the coke. This method evaluates the bonding capacity of the coal sample (colloidal substance in coal) to anthracite. A specific formula is applied to calculate the bonding index of the coal sample.
