Applications: A fine chemical synthesis intermediate and a key intermediate for synthesizing 3,3',4,4'-oxydiphthalic anhydride (abbreviated as ODPA). ODPA is an important monomer for high-performance polymers such as polyimide, polyetherimide, polyesterimide, polyamideimide, polymaleimide, and polyarylamide, which are high-temperature-resistant resins. It is also used as a crosslinking agent for high-performance heat-resistant epoxy resins, polyurethanes, and other synthetic polymer materials. ODPA-based polyimides exhibit outstanding mechanical properties, electrical performance, and radiation resistance, and can be used long-term within a temperature range of -269 to 250°C. The introduction of flexible ether bonds into the polyimide backbone significantly reduces the softening temperature, making it a thermoplastic polyimide with excellent processability. It is widely used in China's aerospace and other high-tech fields.
