Mechanism of Polyaluminum Chloride
Polyaluminum chloride is an inorganic polymer coagulant. Due to the bridging effect of hydroxide ions and the polymerization of polyvalent anions, it forms a high molecular weight, high-charge inorganic polymer water treatment agent. Molecular formula: ALn(OH)mCL(3n-m)0m3n. Its coagulation effects are as follows:
1. Strong charge neutralization of colloidal substances in water.
2. Excellent bridging adsorption of hydrolysis products on suspended solids in water.
3. Selective adsorption of soluble substances.
4. The primary form of polyaluminum chloride in water is AL13O4(OH)247+.
Usage of Polyaluminum Chloride
1. Dissolve the solid product in water at a ratio of 1:3 to form a liquid, then dilute it with 10-30 times water to the desired concentration before use.
2. Dosage can be determined based on the turbidity of the raw water. Generally, for raw water with turbidity between 100-500 mg/L, the dosage is 10-20 kg per thousand tons (adjust according to actual water quality).
3. Storage method: This product must be stored in a dry, moisture-proof, and heat-protected area. During storage and transportation, avoid contamination by toxic substances, exposure to heat, and moisture. Do not damage the packaging.
4. Packaging specifications: This product is packaged in non-toxic polyethylene plastic bags with an additional woven bag. Net weight per bag: 25 KG.
