Product Description: Valnemulin is a new generation of semi-synthetic antibiotics of the pleuromutilin class, belonging to diterpenoids, and is in the same category as tiamulin. It is an antibiotic specifically for animals; mainly used for the prevention and treatment of mycoplasma diseases and Gram-positive bacterial infections in pigs, cattle, sheep, and poultry. The antibacterial mechanism of valnemulin is similar to that of tiamulin, which involves binding to the 50S subunit of the pathogen's ribosome, inhibiting protein synthesis. Specifically, by interacting with the V region of the pathogen's 23S rRNA, it prevents the correct positioning of peptidyl transferase at the CCA-end of tRNA, thereby inhibiting the synthesis of pathogen proteins and leading to their death.
