Properties: White to off-white crystalline powder, almost odorless, non-hygroscopic. Sweet taste. Very stable to light, heat, and pH. Highly soluble in water, ethanol, and methanol.

Uses:

Food additive, the latest sweetener, sweetness is 600 times that of sucrose.

Currently, sucralose is widely used in beverages, chewing gum, bread, pastries, preserves, jellies, puddings, jams, and other foods. Its application in the pharmaceutical field is also rapidly expanding. The maximum usage is 0.25g/kg. In countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, it has replaced sucrose and other sweeteners in various foods.

◆ High sweetness, pure sweet taste. Its sweetness is about 600 times that of sucrose, 3 times that of aspartame, and the taste is pure, very similar to sucrose.

◆ Stable properties, sucralose has excellent solubility and stability . Its crystalline product can be stored for 4 years under dry conditions at 20°C. In aqueous solutions and beverages (pH value of 3 to 5) and at normal temperatures, it can be stored for more than 1 year without any changes. Sucralose has no chemically active groups, making it very unlikely to react with other food components, so it can be used in any food ingredient system and processing.
