EMERSON (FISHER JEON) RTZ-S series direct-operated pressure reducing valve is suitable for applications including medium and low-pressure gas pipelines, skid-mounted pressure regulating stations, direct-fired burner equipment, and gas main pressure regulation in industrial/residential areas. Suitable media: natural gas, manufactured gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and other non-corrosive gases.

RTZ-S Installation:

1、The regulator should be installed away from fire sources, vibrations, and in an environment with a suitable temperature.

2、Check if the gas distribution pipeline pressure matches the pressure range indicated on the regulator's nameplate.

3、Ensure the airflow arrow on the regulator aligns with the direction of the pipeline airflow.

4、The pipeline before the regulator should be purged clean before installing the regulator.

5、Install the regulator horizontally.

6、A filter should be installed before the regulator, and a sufficiently long straight pipe section should be left after the regulator. The feedback signal tapping point should be located 6-8 times the pipe diameter (DN) downstream of the regulator.
