ZW Series Attached Vibrator Product Overview:
The ZW series attached vibrator, also known as a concrete vibrator or cement vibrator, is widely used in various construction projects, civil buildings, dams, bridges, and the vibration of precast concrete components. Based on technical characteristics, it can be categorized into two types: standard frequency and high frequency, for users to choose from.
I. Operation and Usage Methods
1. Installation Method: The usage of the attached concrete vibrator generally falls into two scenarios: mobile surface vibration and fixed installation for component vibration. For surface vibration, a wooden or iron plate is attached to the bottom of the vibrator, and the vibrator is fixed onto the base plate for use. For fixed component vibration or installation on other vibrating machinery, the installation method should be determined based on design requirements. During installation, the mounting screw holes on the base plate must be accurately positioned. Misaligned holes may cause installation difficulties, severe misalignment of screws, and abnormal stress on the casing, affecting its service life. The nuts of the base plate mounting screws must be securely tightened to prevent loosening, but excessive force should be avoided to prevent damage to the casing feet. Additionally, the tightness of all four mounting screws should be consistent.
2. Operation: The operation of this machine is very simple. It can be used by connecting it to a 415V power supply. During trial operation, the vibrator should not run idle for extended periods on hard, dry ground, as this may cause excessive vibration and lead to damage. When moving the vibrator during operation, ensure the four-core cable of the motor maintains a certain length and flexibility. Avoid pulling it too tightly to prevent wire breakage. During installation and operation, electrical safety measures must be observed at all times, and safety fuses should be installed in the circuit. If multiple vibrators are used simultaneously on a single component, their performance may differ from that of a single vibrator. In such cases, the frequencies of all vibrators must be consistent to avoid interference. For more complex installation and operation issues, appropriate solutions should be incorporated into the design.
II. Maintenance and Inspection Methods Regular maintenance of this vibrator primarily includes the following:
1. Keep the external surface of the casing clean. Prevent concrete or other materials from accumulating on the casing, as this may hinder heat dissipation.
2. Handle the vibrator gently during transportation, installation, and operation to avoid impact damage. Regularly inspect the motor feet and casing for integrity. If cracks are found, take corrective measures.
3. Periodically check the tightness of the base plate mounting screws, end cover fixing bolts, and terminal box screws. If any are loose, tighten them immediately (the long fixing bolts on both sides of the end cover may elongate after prolonged use). Bolts and nuts should maintain good thread conditions. During disassembly and assembly, inspect the threads; if damaged or not fitting tightly, replace them.
4. Lubricate the bearings at both ends of the motor based on specific usage conditions, typically every three to six months. Use high-quality lubricant in appropriate amounts; avoid over-lubrication. It is best to remove the bearings, clean them with gasoline, dry them, and then reinstall them. To lubricate the bearings, first unscrew the nuts on the long bolts, remove the end cover, and detach the eccentric block. This allows the bearing seat cover and bearings to be removed. During disassembly and assembly, avoid damaging the mating surfaces of the bearing seat cover and casing. When reinstalling the eccentric block, ensure it is securely locked with anti-loosening wire.
5. If abnormal noise, vibration, or a burning smell is detected during operation, immediately disconnect the power supply and stop the vibrator for inspection.
This vibrator has a simple structure. With regular maintenance and proper operation, faults are generally rare.
Below are possible faults and their repair methods: If the motor suffers mechanical damage due to overly tight wiring or careless use, wire breakage may occur. In such cases, first inspect the terminal box. If the break is inside the motor, follow standard motor circuit inspection procedures. If necessary, the entire stator may need to be pressed out for repair, requiring appropriate tools and fixtures.
After prolonged use, the motor bearings may gradually wear out and require replacement. Excessive wear can cause the rotor to rub against the stator, leading to damage. In such cases, replace the bearings immediately. The bearings installed at the factory are of high precision; ensure replacement bearings are of similar quality.
