Permanent anchoring devices used on concrete. Anchors can be divided into two categories: (a) Tensioning end anchorage: installed at the end of the prestressed tendon and capable of tensioning. Anchorage is also referred to as prestressed anchorage. The so-called anchorage is a device used in post-tensioned structures or components to maintain the tensile force of the prestressed tendon and transfer it to the concrete; (b) Fixed end anchorage: installed at the end of the prestressed tendon, usually embedded in concrete and not used for tensioning. The standard for prestressed tendon anchorage is (GB/T 14370-2015). Application areas are widely used in highway bridges, railway bridges, urban interchanges, urban light rail, high-rise buildings, hydraulic and hydroelectric dams, ports and docks, rock slope anchoring, foundation reinforcement, tunnel and mine roof anchoring, prestressed space frames, subways, large public buildings, warehouse factories, tower structures, heavy lifting, incremental sliding formwork construction, bridge and tunnel incremental launching, large containers and ships, sleepers, bridge bearing replacement, bridge and building reinforcement, rebar engineering, anti-magnetic and anti-corrosion engineering (fiber anchorage), carbon fiber reinforcement, pretensioned beam yard construction, external prestressing engineering, cable-stayed bridges, suspension bridges, and other engineering projects. Specifications and models currently commonly used in China include: (a) M15-N anchorage. M stands for anchorage (the first letter of the Chinese pinyin for anchorage); 15 represents the specification of the steel strand, which is 15.24 (the steel strand strength commonly used in China is 1860 MPa grade 15.24 steel strand); -N refers to the number of steel strands to be threaded. (b) M13-N anchorage. M stands for anchorage (the first letter of the Chinese pinyin for anchorage); 13 represents the specification of the steel strand, which is 12.78 (the steel strand strength commonly used abroad is 1860 MPa grade 13.78 steel strand); -N refers to the number of steel strands to be threaded.
