The Milog4 Pressure Logger is an IoT instrument based on NB-IoT communication over narrowband wireless networks, designed for real-time monitoring of pressure values for non-corrosive media such as gas, water, and oil within pipelines. It features a built-in large-capacity memory that records pressure, temperature, valve position, and access signals at gas pressure regulating stations. Typically, it logs one historical data entry every 5 minutes and reports collected sensor data to the server once per hour. In the event of a pressure alarm, the system can detect and report it to the server within 1 minute.

II. Milog4 Device Functions

1.1 Sensor Function

Built-in dual pressure sensors for inlet and outlet pressure, interchangeable with differential pressure sensors;

Built-in temperature sensor, either PT100 or ambient temperature sensor;

Built-in 4-channel digital input sensors for connecting access, valve position, venting, and other digital signals;

Built-in 24V digital output switch with a capacity of 24V·3A, capable of connecting relay contact signals to drive exhaust fans, electric actuators, etc.

1.2 Historical Data Logging Function

Built-in storage with data logging capacity of up to 1 million points; logged historical data can be reported via network or downloaded via USB drive.

1.3 NB-IoT Network Transmission Function

1.3.1 Historical Data Transmission

Historical data can be reported via UDP protocol for up to 1 million logged entries. The most recent 16 historical data entries are reported using CoAP protocol, which includes a retransmission mechanism to ensure data transmission success.

1.3.2 Alarm Data Transmission

Pressure exceeding set upper or lower limits triggers an alarm within 1 minute; digital signal changes trigger an alarm within 7 seconds;

1.4 USB Drive Download Function for Historical Data

Historical data (1 million entries) can be exported via USB drive by creating a data file on the drive. The Prgas regulator fault management software can automatically identify and match data files to corresponding stations.

III. Prgas Regulator Fault Management System—Cloud Platform

The cloud platform is developed with cross-platform compatibility and can run on Windows, Android, iOS, and other operating systems.

The Windows cloud platform login address is www.htslog.cn; users log in on a computer by entering a username and password, providing a visual human-machine interface similar to SCADA systems. Android and iOS devices can access the platform via browser at www.htslog.cn, with the backend automatically adjusting the display based on screen size.

By following the official account and registering a station management account, users can automatically log in to the gas cloud platform.


IV. Mobile Device Usage Instructions

Users can search for the WeChat official account: "Smart Pressure Gauge," follow it, or scan a QR code to follow. After system administrator review and permission allocation, the WeChat account can be used to manage cloud platform data services.

After following the official account, register an account by filling in the following information:

Company name and full name are required for alarm message push content; mobile number is used for alarm SMS push.

The username and password are for logging into the cloud platform software. If unsure, users can initially log into the demo system with User/user credentials. For security, after registering via the official account, customers must contact the backend administrator for account review and permission configuration.

V. Method to Receive Alarm Message Push from Official Account

The system performs alarm judgment based on operating pressure and digital signal status. If operating pressure exceeds set upper or lower limits, a pressure alarm is reported within 1 minute. Digital signal changes trigger an alarm within 7 seconds.



VI. Method to Modify Pressure Alarm Thresholds


In the "Smart Pressure Gauge" official account, click "Management - Threshold Settings," enter the device list, double-click a device record, and modify the upper and lower alarm limits. After the Milog4 Pressure Logger reports data, the system automatically updates the new alarm limits to the logger.

VII. Method to Query Regulator Performance Scoring Results


Based on pressure and temperature data detected by the pressure-temperature detection module, along with set operating pressure and factory stabilization accuracy, the actual stabilization accuracy of the regulator is calculated. The regulator's shut-off pressure ratio is analyzed to assess its working state, identifying issues such as excessively high or low operating pressure. The regulator's operational condition is scored on a 100-point scale. This calculation is performed daily by the server, with results stored in the database. Customers can access the data using HTTP commands.
