Product Description: Mainly composed of a connector and a tube body. The product is made of medical-grade PVC or medical-grade silicone.

Scope of Application: For use by clinical institutions during gastric examinations. Used for intestinal decompression, input of liquids or fluid nutrition, and drainage.

. Gastric Tube Care

A. Clean the nasal cavity daily with a cotton swab dipped in water.

B. When replacing the tape, clean the facial skin before applying, and avoid applying it to the same area of skin.

C. The exposed part of the nasogastric tube must be properly secured to prevent pulling and slipping.

D. Check the nasogastric tube markings daily; if it has slipped out, notify medical staff for handling.

E. Clean the mouth daily using cotton swabs; conscious and cooperative patients may use a toothbrush. Encourage patients to brush their teeth and rinse their mouths to develop good hygiene habits. Provide oral care for patients who are unable to care for themselves or are unconscious.

F. For unconscious or agitated, uncooperative patients, prevent the nasogastric tube from being pulled out. If necessary, appropriately restrain the patient's hands for protection.

[Precautions]

1. Observation: Frequently check on patients in the ward, inquire about their condition, and observe whether the gastric tube is blocked or dislodged; monitor for nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, oral or nasopharyngeal mucosal damage, constipation, etc.

4. Post-intubation Guidance:

Inform the patient that after the nasogastric tube is placed, there may be a foreign body sensation in the throat, which is a normal physiological response. If the condition improves and the patient can eat independently, the nasogastric tube can be removed.

[Storage Method]

1. This product should be transported in covered vehicles or ship cabins, kept clean, and protected from heavy pressure, direct sunlight, and rain or snow.

2. This product should be stored away from fire sources, in an environment with relative humidity not exceeding 80%, free of corrosive gases, well-ventilated, and clean.
