Dual Media Sootblower

The HX-DM3 dual-media soot blower is primarily used for clearing ash deposits from the heating surfaces of air preheaters and the flue gas heating surfaces of GGH in desulfurization units; it can also be employed to clean the heat exchange surfaces of FGD in denitrification systems. This ensures more efficient and effective heat exchange in both GGH and FGD units.

■ The media soot blower is available in two types: high-pressure and low-pressure cleaning. The high-pressure medium is high-pressure water, while the low-pressure medium can be superheated steam, compressed air, or low-pressure water.

■ The soot blower gun comprises two barrels: one for high-pressure water and another for low-pressure media.

■ The two barrels are secured together via a connecting plate.

■ The low-pressure media barrel is connected to the carriage and is driven into the GGH by the carriage mechanism.

■ Depending on the operating environment, soot blower barrels made from different materials can be selected.
