Fan Performance Test System
I. Test Models
Centrifugal fans, axial fans, air handling units, etc.
II. Test Items
Fan air volume, fan speed, torque, power, determination of rated point air pressure, determination of rated point air volume, as well as output power, air pressure, and various characteristic curve tests.
III. Fan characteristic curve tests are conducted on the test bench. All test procedures are collected and detected by the computer, and the test results are displayed. The computer system uses the WINDOWS operating system, with a beautiful human-machine interface. It can collect, record, store, and display test data and results for each item, print test data and characteristic curves, and provide computer software that is easy to operate, flexible to adjust, and has an intuitive and clear human-machine interface. This system adopts a manual test working method, using variable frequency motors and inverters for speed regulation tests. The test bench tests are conducted according to GB/T1236-2000 "Performance Testing of Industrial Fans Using Standardized Air Ducts".
IV. Technical specifications of test items: The test device includes two major categories: duct test and chamber test. Generally, fans with higher pressure are tested using duct test benches, while fans with lower pressure are tested using chamber test benches. According to the GB/T1236-2000 standard, it can be divided into four types: A, B, C, and D. The fan, motor, and torque-speed sensor are installed on a cast iron test platform. The air inlet, manufactured according to the GB/T1236 standard, is adjusted with an air valve at the outlet. The motor is supplied with rated voltage to make the fan blow air. The computer controls the change of the orifice plate at the inlet of the pressure equalizing box to block, uniformly changing 16 times. The air pressure H and input power P1 at each point are measured, and the output power PS and efficiency Eff. are calculated simultaneously. Test method II, according to IEC and GB standards, uses data obtained from one of the above methods and draws the following characteristic curves:
