| [Performance and Application] |
| 1. Easily soluble in water, the solution appears milky white. Not resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, heavy metal salts, and reducing agents. Provides fast and uniform penetration with good wetting, penetrating, emulsifying, and foaming properties. Optimal penetration is achieved below 40℃. Hydrolyzes more easily in high temperatures when exposed to alkali. It is recommended to treat fabrics with the penetrant below 40℃ before raising the temperature. Penetrant T is not resistant to strong alkalis and should not be directly added to concentrated alkali solutions. Dilute the alkali solution first before adding Penetrant T. 2. This product is a high-efficiency penetrant used for treating cotton, hemp, viscose, and their blended products. Fabrics treated with it can be bleached or dyed directly without scouring, improving dyeing defects caused by dead cotton. The hand feel of the dyed or printed fabric becomes softer and fuller. For scouring and bleaching of gray fabrics, it is best to remove dyes completely first to ensure penetration effectiveness. 3. If excessive foam is observed during the use of Penetrant T, a small amount of defoamer such as GP, octanol, or tributyl phosphate can be added to eliminate foam. 4. Used for raw cotton dyeing and in wettable powder formulations for pesticides. |
