The production process of diamond pattern rubber sheets combines rubber technology with precision mold techniques. First, the mixed rubber is calendered into sheets of specified thickness, then sent into molds with diamond cavities for vulcanization. Temperature control at 150±5°C and pressure maintained above 15MPa ensure full cross-linking of rubber molecular chains, achieving ideal physical properties. Notably, the edges of the rubber sheets are typically beveled at 45°, a detail designed to effectively prevent edge cracking during use.
Quality inspection includes multiple rigorous tests: Shore hardness (typically required between 65-75 Shore A), tensile strength (≥15MPa), wear resistance (Akron abrasion ≤0.3cm³/1.61km), and peel strength (≥8N/mm). Test reports from a 1688 supplier show that high-quality diamond pattern rubber sheets can withstand over 1 million dynamic bending tests under simulated working conditions without cracking, thanks to the addition of anti-aging agents and UV stabilizers in the formulation.

The innovation of diamond pattern rubber sheets lies in their surface texture design. Unlike traditional flat rubber coatings, the diamond pattern creates multi-directional friction surfaces through three-dimensional geometric structures. When the rubber sheet contacts the conveyor belt, the edges of the pattern generate a mechanical interlocking effect similar to "gear meshing." Mainstream diamond pattern rubber sheets typically have a pattern height of 5-8mm and a pattern spacing of 15-25mm. This ratio is precisely calculated to ensure sufficient grip while preventing material from getting stuck due to overly dense patterns.
In terms of material selection, high-quality diamond pattern rubber sheets adopt a three-layer composite structure: the bottom layer is made of highly adhesive chloroprene rubber to ensure strong bonding with metal rollers; the middle layer consists of highly elastic natural rubber for cushioning and shock absorption; the surface layer uses wear-resistant polyurethane or rubber, with some high-end products adding silicon carbide particles to enhance abrasion resistance. This layered design extends the wear life of the rubber sheets by 3-5 times compared to ordinary rubber sheets, making them particularly suitable for harsh working conditions involving materials like iron ore and coal.
