Product Characteristics: Monoazo calcium salt lake, bluish bright red powder, appears purplish red, turns bluish red precipitate when diluted, brownish red when heated, and red when hydrogenated. More bluish than Lightfast Scarlet BBN, Lightfast Scarlet BBS, and Lightfast Deep Red BBM, and more yellowish than Lithol Rubine BK. The color of this pigment can serve as a standard red for solvent inks, is widely used in nitrocellulose ink systems, and may thicken in water-based inks. In plastic coloring, it offers better lightfastness and heat resistance than Lightfast Scarlet BBN.
Applications: Mainly used for coloring plastics, inks, rubber, coatings, oil paints, colored pencil cores, and crayons.
Coatings Field: Recommended for industrial paints, powder coatings, and also suitable for solvent-based coatings.
